3-4 years Experience

Rachel Still is the founder and owner of Sassy Strong Mom, and she is a  Mind & Body Coach Expert who helps women (mother's)  35 to 55 who want to thrive and survive during lifestyle changes. She knows that it’s not one size fits all.  Rachel went through her struggles, obstacles, and challenges in her own life. She suffered from an eating disorder, diet disorders, self-doubt, self-sabotaging, negative thoughts, depression, not believing in herself, comparing herself to everyone around her, comparing her body, and education level and not feeling like she was smart enough. It was an on-going judgmental part of her life that Rachel is not proud of,  and she was so critical of herself.

Rachel had to do some soul searching of her own, and her healing journey leads her to where she is today.  She believes we must change our limiting beliefs about ourselves and redesign those beliefs, and learn how to overcome those beliefs that hold us like a prisoner inside our bodies. When we only focus on our external behavior without changing our internal expectations, we will self-sabotage our accomplishments. Then the self-doubt, hurtful words and all the negative self-talk will set in and take control of our mind and body. There are no quick fixes. She believes  "How you do one thing, is how you do everything in life." It starts with us showing up for ourselves in every area of your life so that life can show up for us,  and it begins with us taking small steps to smart lasting change. When creating Sassy Strong Mom,  Rachel wanted to create a place for women (mother's) that would be a non-judgment atmosphere, that allows them to stop trying to be perfect, letting go and stop comparing themselves to others. As a woman and mother myself, we can't do it all ourselves, so it's important to surround ourselves with the right support systems.

Rachel created an online space for women (mothers) everywhere. She knows fitness and nutrition is just one step to smart lasting change! It’s about creating and helping women (mothers) feel balanced physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and living life each DAY with ease, grace, and happiness. It is essential to have the support you need when making lifestyle changes. Lifestyle change is a journey of memories (good and bad). She understands that there will be bumps in the road. She knows from her own life experiences that there will be failures along the way. However, in those processes, you will learn tools that will keep you motivated.

Rachel started her journey, as a medical massage therapist. She practiced massage for 11 years, in outpatient oncology, physical therapy clinics and worked as a mobile massage therapist. Rachel knows a  good understanding of how the mind and body work together.  She knew deep down in her heart and soul that there was a void in her life, and she wasn't sure what it was, so she took the step into becoming a fitness instructor; thinking that this was what she needed to fill the void.   Rachel received her certification with AFAA to teach fitness classes. She loved teaching fitness classes, over the next three years she taught fitness classes in private gyms. However, even though Rachel enjoyed teaching there was still something missing in her life.  Rachel knew she had more to offer, and she wanted to know how can she make a difference. Rachel started looking into becoming a health/lifestyle coach. One thing you must understand about Rachel- is that learning is what keeps her going to serve you the best way she can. After all the research Rachel did, finally decided to go with the  Health Coaching Institute, and this is when her journey started. She is now a  certified as health/lifestyle coach.  Rachel has been practicing as a Mind & Body Coach Expert for four years now, but what makes her an expert in her field? She is always learning, reading, researching, and she has learned from her own life experiences - NO school can teach that!   When becoming a health and fitness coach, Rachel wanted to give herself a  unique name, because honestly, just like any field, there are so many different fantastic health/ lifestyle coaches out there.  How could she be different, and make a difference? When she decided to go with calling herself a  "Body Coach Expert," everything aligned in her life. Here mission is to help you create the life you desire and deserve!
