Hello Fitness Family!  

I am a Yoga Alliance 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher.  I received my first training back in 2011 when I traveled to Rishikesh, India. While there I lived on an ashram for 2 months and studied everything from yoga to meditation, Eastern philosophy, Ayurveda, alternative therapies, and more!  I loved it so much, I returned to India in the summer of 2013 to attend a second teacher training.  This time I was up in the Himalayas, in the town of Dharamsala - where the Dalai Lama resides!

I am also a Certified Holistic Health Coach, having completed my studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  So what does a health coach do?  Well - I help others achieve their health & wellness goals by working one-on-one or in group settings to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun, and rewarding.  So why can I help you?  Because I helped myself!  I used to suffer from a myriad of things - acne, asthma, allergies, chronic colds, disordered eating, low energy, digestive distress, headaches, and feeling just plain unhappy!  I was working a corporate desk job, eating all the wrong things, and drinking entirely too much on the weekends.  Any of that sound familiar?  It wasn't until my second trip abroad, that I really learned the true secret to health:  

We all have the ability to feel AMAZING in our own bodies. We just have to listen to them.

I love sharing the knoweldge I've gained, both in school, and throughout my travels to places like Bali, Thailand, and Costa Rica.  I've studied and practiced all kinds of alternative therapies, yoga, meditation, detoxes, cleanses, and lifestyle adjustments.  All in the name of finding balance and creating a happy life.  

I believe in the importance of taking a holistic approach to health.  This means I look at how all areas of your life are connected.  Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat?  Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? All of these things are vital to understanding the whole picture of your health.

Along with teaching yoga and coaching, I also host workshops, guided meditations, teleseminars, 3-6-9 day detox re-boots, and more!
