Hi!  Thank you for reading my profile.  My name is Nicole Juhl and I have been teaching high school dance, fitness, and wellness since 2001.  Prior to 2001, I worked in the corporate fitness industry as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor, and an exercise specialist for several health and fitness clubs around Chicago, IL.  I was also a varsity level dance team coach and choreographer and I danced on the Milwaukee Bucks NBA dance team!  I graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Dance minor and then I continued to Northern Illinois University to complete my teaching certificate along with my master's degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education with an emphasis on curriculum instruction.  I have completed certifications in Zumba, STOTT Pilates, Kickboxing, PIYO, Turbokick, Hip Hop Hustle, Spinning, and Xtend Barre.  I am also a certified personal trainer through ACE, a nutritional specialist through AASDN and I am a 200 RYT through Yoga Alliance.  My passion is helping people find joy in movement in order to help them lead a longer and more enjoyable life.  My classes focus on integrating the breath and proper alignment in each movement and allow you to develop a better sense of strong posture along with providing you with a well-balanced workout.  When I am not teaching, I am keeping busy by traveling, continuing my education in health and wellness, spending time with my husband, twin daughters, and son, and fitting in my own yoga practice and strength training sessions when I can find the time!
