An Intro to Yoga Series ideal for beginners and those wanting to reconnect with the basics of their practice. This slower paced introduction to the fundamentals of yoga will help you gain the confidence, strength and flexibility needed to try more advanced classes. Explore basic standing and seated postures, learn proper breathing techniques, correct alignment and relaxation methods. $75 for full series or drop in with class package. Sign up online anytime. FIRST TIME AT OUR STUDIO?
1) We are just a few blocks from the CTA red line at Grand Ave/State St, State St/Lake St stop (all lines) and the State St bus stops right outside. Street parking is available near the studio(metered). Discounted Valet parking and metered parking available. Entry is between El Hefe and Theory. Take the elevator or stairs to the 4th floor.
2) We have changing areas, restrooms, and a shower for your convenience. Please arrive a few minutes early if you must change before class. Door may lock once classes start.
3) Bring bottled water, a small towel (and a larger towel if you intend to shower after class), and a yoga mat for yoga/pilates. We do rent mats ($2) and towels ($1) and sell bottled water, refreshments, and snacks.
4) All classes are performed barefoot, so leave your shoes and coats in the cubbie area, and bring any personal items you wish in the studio with you.
5) Leave your stress at the door, make friends, and have a great class!!!
