75 MINUTE CLASS! In this version of Vinyasa Flow, the room is set to a warm (not hot) temperature of 80 degrees, creating an environment where the body can soften and stretch safely and effectively while gently detoxing.
This level 2 class typically incorporates a variety of sun salutations and flows through standing poses, balancing poses, and seated poses. The teacher may also offer more advanced poses including inversions, arm balances, and backbends. The option to take a resting pose is always available.
Focus is on linking movement to breath, refining alignment, and building strength, combined with creative sequencing, allowing for a fun exploration of the vinyasa practice. Students will gain strength, flexibility, and balance while challenging their bodies and having a good time. Class is generally accompanied by music.
This class will be best if you are already physically active, comfortable with basic yoga poses, and appreciate practicing in a warm room.
